KAG will come and deliver training on the following:

  • Assertiveness Training
  • Appointee and Deputyship
  • Care act 2014
  • Safeguarding


To outside agencies including care homes, other voluntary groups etc.

National Advocacy Qualification
KAG is an approved satellite assessment centre of the British Institute of Learning Disabilities [BILD] for the National Advocacy Qualification.

Independent Advocacy: Level 3 Certificate or Diploma via Taught Modules and Portfolio Support. Training involves 4 core units –

  1. Purpose and principles of Independent Advocacy
  2. Providing Independent Advocacy Support
  3. Maintaining the Independent Advocacy Relationship
  4. The Advocacy Needs of Different Groups of People and there are 5 optional units –
  • IMCA
  • IMHA
  • Advocacy Management
  • Advocacy and Adults
  • Advocacy and Children

KAG is a qualification Centre for the Prince’s Trust Qualifications on Community Project and Personal Development and Employability. Community Projects that we have assessed have included work in hospital gardens.
